Race 1  AV Stone Marble and Granite 2YO Pace  1770 metres

LETSBEALILCREATIVE — Pre-race blood sample obtained.

 

THE EDUCATOR — Raced roughly approaching the 300 metres.

 

STAR GULLY TARA — Hung in approaching the 300 metres at the same time as Shelby Art hung out, resulting in contact with that runner’s sulky and Shelby Art breaking gait.

 

SHELBY ART — Hung out approaching the 300 metres at the same time as Star Gully Tara hung in, resulting in contact to Shelby Art’s sulky and the filly breaking gait. Given the circumstances, no action was taken against the filly.

 

MY SHIRAZ — Hung out during the score-up. Post-race swab sample obtained.

 

NOOGALEEK OFFKILTA — Out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

 

BE BETTER — Broke gait entering the first turn. A warning was issued.

 

ZEE SEVEN ONE — Broke gait during the score-up and will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Broke gait near the 1400 metres. Trainer-driver Neil Day was advised that, given the colt’s record, Zee Seven One would be stood down for 14 days and until the satisfactory completion of two requalifying trials. Mr Day advised that the colt would be spelled and would likely be gelded before returning to racing.

 

Race 2  Lonsdale Auto Electrics Pace  1770 metres

CAM I AM — Pre-race blood sample obtained. Raced roughly after the start.

 

FLY OVER STATES — Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and throughout the home straight.

 

MOVINTOHELLANDBACK — Hung in and contacted marker pegs rounding the home turn on the final occasion.

 

LETSTACOBOUTIT — Made slight contact with the mobile barrier arm and consequently broke gait during the score-up. Trailed the field thereafter and took no competitive part in the race. A warning was placed on the gelding’s record.

 

MITTYS THREE ACES NZ — Out of position at the start. No action was taken.

 

MODERN SHEEN — Inconvenienced after the start when Cam I Am raced roughly. Gave ground to be beaten 53 metres.

 

DESTINATION UNKNOWN NZ — Post-race swab sample obtained.

 

SYENITE — Hung in rounding the home turn on the final occasion and raced roughly.

 

Race 3  Oskar Memorials Pace  1770 metres

TOMMY TIME — Post-race swab sample obtained.

 

BOUND FOR TROUBLE — Broke gait approaching the 700 metres. The mare was placed on her last chance to race truly.

 

OAK RIDGE — Checked approaching the 700 metres when Bound For Trouble broke gait.

 

EYEDIDNTLOSEIT — Pre-race blood sample obtained.

 

Race 4  Lerida Estate Winery 3YO Pace  1770 metres

DARK MIRACLE — Underwent a pre-race warm-up. Post-race swab sample obtained.

 

SHE SHIMMERS — Pre-race blood sample obtained. Raced roughly under pressure over the concluding stages.

 

GEE WHIZZING — Raced roughly after the start and will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Raced roughly throughout the event before breaking gait near the 500 metres. In view of the gelding’s racing manners and performance, it was stood down until the satisfactory completion of one requalifying trial.

 

Race 5  TAB.COM Pace  2170 metres

EYES OFF TIGER — Driver Jorja Daskalovski pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that, passing the 300 metres, she permitted Eyes Off Tiger to shift in when insufficiently clear of Merrywood Rosie, causing that runner to be checked and break gait. As a consequence, Uncle Craigo was also checked and broke gait. Ms Daskalovski’s licence to drive in races was suspended for seven days, commencing at midnight on Sunday the 1^st of November 2026.

 

ALWAYS BE BRENDAN — Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to obtain the position outside the leader. Commenced to tire entering the back straight on the final occasion and was beaten 124.6 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance, driver George Lee stated that, although the gelding had worked in the early stages, he was disappointed with its performance and could offer no further explanation. In view of the performance, Always Be Brendan was stood down until the satisfactory completion of one requalifying trial.

 

ELKA ANGEL — Pre-race blood sample obtained. Post-race swab sample obtained.

 

MERRYWOOD ROSIE — Pre-race blood sample obtained. Tightened for racing room passing the 300 metres when Eyes Off Tiger shifted in, resulting in Merrywood Rosie being checked and breaking gait.

UNCLE CRAIGO — Checked and broke gait passing the 300 metres as a consequence of Merrywood Rosie being checked and breaking gait.

 

Race 6  Glen Mia ACT Pty Ltd Pace  1770 metres

FINANCIALLY STABLE — Over-raced throughout the event. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 77.6 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver Dean Cernovskis stated that the gelding had over-raced throughout the event, but he was nevertheless disappointed with its performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. In view of the gelding’s performance, it was stood down until the satisfactory completion of one requalifying trial.

 

LOLLIPOP — Post-race swab sample obtained.

 

PENCIL ME IN — Inconvenienced when Warrawees Shout broke gait after entering the first turn.

 

WARRAWEES SHOUT — Broke gait after entering the first turn. A warning was issued.

 

SUMMER PUNCH — Pre-race blood sample obtained. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

 

Race 7  Canberra Differential and Mechanical Services Pace  1770 metres

FLOYDY BOY — Post-race swab sample obtained.

 

BETTER BE SWIFT — Pre-race blood sample obtained.

 

ROCKNREASON — Broke gait approaching the 200 metres. A warning was issued.

 

ELLEY PRINCESS — Broke gait after the start and will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Over-raced during the early stages and raced roughly entering the back straight on the final occasion. Was beaten 57.8 metres. Stewards questioned driver George Lee regarding the performance who could provide and explanation for the performance. In view of the mare’s racing manners and performance, she was stood down until the satisfactory completion of one requalifying trial.
